Position: Quality Control Technician / Vision System Programmer
The Quality Control Technician / Vision System Programmer is responsible for the programming of vision measuring systems, developing quality control plans and inspection records for precision machined and assembled parts. It requires good working knowledge of standard precision measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparator, as well as familiarity with the vision system inspection of parts in order to verify conformance to specifications. The role is to detect and contain quality issues in order to ensure compliance or report non-conforming parts/procedures, as well as to correct and prevent them.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Program vision measuring systems

Perform inspections across various stages of production, verifying conformance to prints and specifications.

Investigate product quality issues and determine root cause and corrective actions

Perform first piece inspection and final inspection.

Assist with both internal and external audits.

Work with Engineering and Production to address any product issues.

Adhere to all AS9100 requirements as specified in work instructions and by your supervisor.
