Compression Molding

With in-house compression molding capability, Tri-Mack can support your need for custom PTFE-based components. Controlling this process enables us to supply custom materials that meet stringent material specifications, including lot traceability.

We compression mold and sinter near-net blanks using virgin PTFE and filled PTFE compounds. Fillers such as glass and thermoplastics are added to PTFE to enhance the material properties and part performance. Compression mold tooling is designed and built in house.

The blanks are machined to the finished geometry using our screw machine, CNC turning or multi-axis milling equipment.
