Tri-Mack is taking continuous strides toward becoming a more eco-conscious supplier through a variety of green initiatives which have been enacted over the past decade. We began by upgrading our manufacturing facility using energy efficient lighting and we replaced traditional machine controls with VFD (variable frequency drives) to reduce energy consumption. The upgrade of our molding machine fleet is another impactful initiative, reducing the power consumption and cooling water requirements in our facility. Finally, we have advanced our internal system to include all electronic filing and ordering, using tablets over paper whenever possible to continue our efforts to be more environmentally conscious. Our most recent endeavors to increase sustainability include the installation of a new drinking water filtration system throughout our facility and the move to solar power. We look forward to adding more sustainability initiatives to become a green supplier for our customers and our industry.
